No More Comics... For Real, This Time
First, thanks you for all the loyal readers of Lovarian Adventures. I know I have been promising you a new comic page to come after the very old latest one. And I have yet to deliver on that promise. The thing is, after a lot of soul-searching, I have decided that I really no longer have the required enthusiasm to finish this would-be comic book epic.
However, I feel real bad for all of you who have stuck with me through all these years only to find out that the story will not reach a proper conclusion. So, even though I'm no longer interested in drawing any more comic pages for the Lovarian Adventures story, I still want to at least tell you how the story was supposed to progress and ultimately end.
I intended on writing just a plain textual summary of the events to follow up to the climax of the story. Kind of like something you'd read in an encylopedia entry for a certain story. But I thought that maybe I can still give you some last time treats while doing so.
The plan is, I'll make still poster-type images of important aspects of the supposed story along with the text summary. The idea was inspired of the "Previously..." portions on TV shows which shows quick clips of past events along with some minimum narration. But instead of past events, how about future events. But of course this isn't TV so I can't very well do TV clips so I'll have to resort to still images that go along with narration (in the form of the text summary).
So, again, I'm sorry for discontinuing this comic once and for all. But if you wait a while longer, I'll be posting some "flash-forward" graphics and narration. Thanks for your support. Come back in a month (I'm feeling pessimistic) to see if I've already posted the so-called flash-forward stuff.

Nooooooooooooooooooooo...!
I've been waiting on this update for years now... and suddenly, my hopes are dashed. It's so sad to see a good comic procrastinated into oblivion.
That is a shame. Lovarian Adventures was the first web comic I ever started reading. You have some great characters who were only just starting to really blossom. So would this summary of events be sort of like a picture book? Illustrations with accompanying text?
Are you still open to the idea of someone else drawing the pages and all you have to do is write the dialogue and script?
Either way it's your comic and I'm sure all of us would be happy to see it concluded whichever way it comes!
@pyran: Well, if you're reading this comment then you must already know that I am going to continue the comic. At least until the end of Chapter 7. What I do next after that is pretty much still up in the air. And if I don't decide to continue drawing the comic after chapter 7, I'd still do the children's picture book route.
@tooner: Yes, the summary will have a children's picture book-ish look. As for someone else drawing the comic pages, I don't want to think about it at the moment. Are you offering to do it? ;)
Heh, mate you know I'd love to but my own comic could suffer. The main reason why I suggest it is because there are a lot of great artists out there who would love to draw a comic but feel they don't have the ability to write one.
The same goes for great writers who feel they don't have the ability (or the time) to draw great comics. Putting the two together, both a great writer and a great artist, produces a great piece of work, and gives both enough time to focus and not be hindered by both tasks at once.
As for whether or not I'm offering my skills? Give me a minute to think it over. You might want to go for a hunt through deviant art and shoot off some emails.
It was just a suggestion because I know it helps takes the pressure off of having to focus on so much at once. If you can write the story and send it to the artist, the hard work (on your part) is already done and you can go do something else with the rest of your time.
But after reading the latest page, I think it's great to see you giving it another go as a graphic story! Keep it up! For fans to stick around for as long as they have tells one something: you're onto something good!
@Toonerfish: Hehe. I was just wondering if you were offering your services. But, no. I don't think I'll be passing off the art chores to anybody else. I tried that a few times already in the past and everytime I did, I feel like I'm giving away a child. So, yeah. I'll just do it all myself. :)
