Hi people. Just added the About Me and Lovaria section to the website. There is nothing much to read there... yet. I plan to add some more notes there about me and the comic later on. I just want that page up on the server already so that I don't have a dead link on my navigation menu. That's all for now.

I'll be leaving in 2 days. I don't think I'll be able to get a Friday page up on time (if at all). It will depend on whether or not I'm finished packing early. I hope this is understandable. I should still be able to update the pages while on vacation though. It will depend on the PC I have back in the Philippines.

Anyway, Tuesday's comic is in ink without pencil shadings this time. I think it looks better than the pencil-only page last time huh?

For those of you who do not know, I'll be leaving on Saturday, September 1, to go back home to the Philippines for a 3 week vacation! Woohoo! This means that there is a slight chance I may miss this Friday's scheduled comic because I will be busy packing up for my trip home. But during my stay home, I'll still be working on the comic. The only problem I will have is that I have a less powerful PC at home with older software. I hope this will not affect my ability to post the comics.

Sorry for the problems with the site yesterday. The problem has something to do with Keenspace (my host) moving the sites into their new server farm. The Keenspace guys are working on the problem but I think it will persist well into next week. If you see some portions of the site not showing, as simple refresh might fix it.

In any case, I really recommend that you change your bookmarks to http://lovaria.cjb.net so that if Keenspace is down, I can redirect the address automatically to a mirror site. And for those people who has linked to my website, please change the links to point to the afformentioned URL (web address). Thanks.

Sorry guys. The Friday page will be late. And my excuse? I was tired at work and had no more energy left to finish the page. The pencils are all done but I wasn't in the mood to ink it after all the work I did earlier. I'll try to have it up ASAP. Thank you for understanding.

I'm currently working on a possible Elf Life guest strip but I'm not good at telling jokes! Waahh! I wanted to draw the ElfLife characters in my own style but I find it difficult to draw Baughb the Elf in my own style. Arggh.

I'm also working on a poster-type group picture for the Lovarian Adventures gang.

Hi. Finished Tuesday's strip. Whew.

I'm very excited already. Just a few more days and I'll be on my 3 week vacation back in my home country (the Philippines)! Woohoo! I can imagine it all now. Sigh. I'm still planning on doing this webcomic during my vacation though. If I find that it is too difficult for me to do, I may have to do the side-comic I had planned anyway. It will be in a simpler style, if ever. Probably sketchy.

Anyway, that's all for now. If you still don't see the new comic as you read this, then it's Keenspace's updater's fault. I'm supposed to be number 45 in the queue. I hope all goes well. Paalam!

The comic is now done. On this particular page, I used a different shading technique. It is sort of like a hatching technique but I used a mechanical pencil instead of a pen. I'm currently exploring ways of making the process of doing the comic page faster and easier for me while retaining relative art quality.

Folks, I'm still doing the comic for Friday. I just had an idea today while drawing this page. What if I post the unfinished version first then the finished version on the actual schedule? Do you want me to do this? I'm thinking, there are some advantages of me posting the drafts here:

1. You get to see what my progress is.
   
2. You know that I'm really doing something about the next page.
   
3. There is something new to look at even though the actual page isn't finished yet.
   
4. You get to see the pre-production version of the page and can compare it to the finished page when it is done.
   

However, there are downsides. One of them is that the draft page will also act as a spoiler to the following page. So I'm actually not decided on whether posting the drafts before the actual comic is good or bad.

I want to hear your opinion, my dear readers. Please post your opinion about this in the Posting Drafts thread in the forum. Thanks.

I'm done! Well, 30 minutes was very optimistic of me. It took me a while to think out the dialog.

I sort of try to always improve my work but I think this page was actually a step backward. My hand wasn't cooperating. Sorry. I hope it doesn't look too bad.

As I'm typing this, I'm still number 740 in the Keenspace update queue. That means, the comic won't get updated properly until my queue number reaches 0. My work-around is to modify the index.html page itself and post the new comic right after the title. When the keenspace updater kicks in, everything should look as it should.

Hmm. Other than that, nothing new to report. So, paalam na muna.

Sorry for the delay folks. I'm seriously rethinking my comic schedule now. How about Wednesday and Saturday instead? Hmmm. Anyway, other than the delays involved in making the comic, there is also the problem with keenspace which is starting to become very common. Oh well.

Finally! My page has been updated properly by the KS autoupdater engine. Because of this incident, I'm thinking of fixing my pages so that the newest comic won't rely on the KS engine.

Alrighty. I've just finished page 1 of Chapter 2: The Journey Begins! The problem is that something seems to be wrong with Keenspace's autoupdate thingy again so I'm currently stuck at 521 in the queue.
